The Jolly Sailor, Orford

Our local is The Jolly Sailor pub, just a 200m walk from our cottage. It has a great selection of Adnams ales and a fascinating history going back hundreds of years, connected with Orford and Orford Ness.

Orford Holiday Cottage Tip: There’s a lovely patio out the back in summer with views out over the marshes. In the winter they often have a log fire and there’s a snug just to the right of the bar as you enter. Mind the step!
