Pump Street Bakery, Orford
Possibly the best coffee shop and bakery in Suffolk. Pump Street Bakery is an institution in Orford and people come for miles around as it’s known for fresh baking with no preservatives. They’re also becoming very well known for their chocolate and have a shop on the opposite side of the village square.
Pump Street Bakery is open Wednesday to Sunday. Many of the cakes and bread varieties sell out quite quickly so visit in the morning if you want the best selection. You can sit inside although we prefer to get a take away and go for a little walk with ours.

Try the bear claw, almond croissant or a seasonal pastry washed down with a nice latte. Lovely!
Recently they’ve also added a loyalty card so your 9th loaf of bread is free. Check the drawer in our kitchen to see if other guests have left a loyalty card.
